Ken brings an excellent background of management and leadership to the field of real estate where he has always maintained a strong personal and professional involvement. For over 25 years, Ken sustained a track record of proven leadership providing consistent revenue gains and bottom line achievement with Fortune 500 media companies by building and leading effective management teams. In 1995, Ken was instrumental in establishing Real Estate Network, a multi-media program designed to serve the buying and selling real estate needs in the north San Francisco Bay Area. Starting in 2000, Ken served as Vice President of Marketing for the New York Times Company Regional Newspapers where he connected routinely with real estate communities seeking mutually beneficial marketing strategies. Ken then served as President and Publisher of several New York Times community newspapers including the Santa Barbara News-Press, the Wilmington Star-News and then on to Marin Independent Journal. While in North Carolina he successfully launched Wilmington Magazine, a stand-alone publication serving the communities of Southeast North Carolina. Ken was named one of the top Southeast North Carolina business leaders in a published 2002 Leadership Poll and was awarded the prestigious Corporate Citizen of the Year award by the Greater Wilmington Chamber of Commerce in May 2003.
