Kelly is a native of California, raised in the greater Sacramento region most of her life. She is a graduate of Elk Grove High School and lived in the Elk Grove area for over thirty years before moving to Rancho Murieta then Roseville. Kelly currently lives in Rocklin with her husband, who is also named Kelly. She is a mother of six and a grandmother of eighteen and counting. Her family has ties to several local schools including her husband who is a baseball coach at Sierra College, her two daughters who teach at Oakhills and Maidu, and her grandkids who attend high schools, middle schools, and elementary schools in the area. In her free time, Kelly enjoys spending time with her family and volunteering at multiple local nonprofit organizations.
